Iliff Preschool & Kindergarten

WOW! We were amazed at the "cool factor" of the Iliff Preschool & Kindergarten! Not only does it have one of the coolest classrooms I have ever seen, but the playground is awesome, the curriculum is fantastic and the history will blow you away!

When we arrived, we were given the grand tour, including the AIRPLANE Kindergarten classroom. Yes, it is an ACTUAL airplane! When we arrived, the kids were hard at work designing a Van Gogh art piece. They didn't seem to notice the fact that they were learning in an airplane, but we sure did! The tubular classroom was full of light (all those windows!), beautiful decor and lots of learning opportunities.

My daughter was definitely taken with the chicks "cooking" patiently in the incubator...this is something that the school does every spring. I remember doing a project like that when I was a kid, but not until much later in my school career. These preschoolers know a whole lot about chicks!

I loved the playground, which boasted not only the usual equipment, but a maze full of tunnels and climbing aparatus. There was planty of room to hold the airplane classroom and a huge playland...something you would not be able to tell from the outside of the school!

The experienced staff (some former students of the school!) was welcoming and engaged. The children seemed to love being there...I wouls definitely recommend checking out the Iliff Preschool & Kindergarten for your child's educational needs!
