Practice showing the following emotions:
Happy,Sad, Confused, Mad, Scared, Excited

Practice your Friendly not Forced Smiles

Get Grounded! Remember not to sway back and forth when speaking. Try to stand still.

Your handshake should be firm and comfortable. Not too hard or too soft or too fast.

Just be yourself!! Learn your lines-don't memorize your lines. Don't talk like a robot.

Keep your eyes on the camera.

Look like you are excited about what you are saying!

Move naturally. Don't use a hand movement for every line or thought.

Practice say each line in 3 different ways:
"I'm not going." (Sad, happy, angry)
"That's not fair." (Laughing, mad, whining)
"Was that kid bothering you?" (Say it to the "new kid", your friend, your dog)

Not so fast! Speak slowly, loudly and clearly.

Practicing tongue twisters. Practice saying the following twisters 5 times:
"Please Pass the Pepper, Pop" and,
"Toy Boat"

These are all skills that are learned and practiced.
