Denver Pioneers Basketball

With all the hype typically surrounding the teams of CU and CSU, sometimes it seems that our own Denver University teams get a little lost in the shuffle. My family has been to a few Denver Pioneer basketball games in the past, and we went to check out another game a few weekends ago. The Pioneers were taking on the South Dakota State Jackrabbits and it was a very close and exciting game. We enjoy visiting the Ritchie Center (with its nearby free parking) and the game was fun (complete with cheerleaders, a pep band, rockin' music, t-shirt and pizza giveaways and some great entertainment on the overhead scoreboard). The concession prices were pretty reasonable and their was plenty of helpful staff around to answer questions and point you to your seats.

The Pioneers are off to a great start (winning 5 games in a row so far!) and they expect a have a very competitive season. To enjoy some great hoops action with your family, please visit:
