Jump Street Fun Center

Postby momofboyz on Thu Jul 10, 2008 9:59 am

Jump Street Fun Center is just what it claims to be – an indoor amusement park. Whether the day is too cold or too hot, or outdoor activities are too monotonous, this is the place to be. There are three wall to wall tramp rooms, and I mean that literally. Even the walls are trampolines! One room is reserved for dodge ball, which is all the latest craze. For the aspiring Rockies among us, batting cages are available by 15 minute intervals. Don’t worry, the little ones can get in on the jumping action as well. The 8 and under area comes equipped with three large jumping inflatables, age appropriate games, and a pint size house to play in.
This is the perfect place to host a birthday party. There are two themed rooms to choose from and all packages include paperware and bottled water.

Forget the kids- what a fun time the adults in my group had! Sure, the kiddos (three of them under the age of 6) had a fantastic time chasing each other around and bouncing off the walls. But, we had two mamas and a daddy that had an unbelievable hour-long workout and a great time recapturing our youth. My friends even had the guts to attempt a back-flip by the end, which is quite a daring feat for parents in their 30s!

We also appreciated all the staffs' efforts to make sure our little ones were safe in sharing jumping space with a group of teenagers. It was nice to see all the bargain days they offer and our toddler playgroup has taken advantage of their group rate and party facilities several times in the past. Two thumbs up to Jump Street for providing a safe and fun environment for kids (and parents) of all ages!

We hit Jumpstreet with some wired kiddos -- we left we some exhausted chitlins! Jumpstreet starts a new session every 30 minutes. Check their website for bargain days throughout the week and ColoradoKids website for coupons.
The bigger kids went straight for the Dodgeball arena. There, young and old alike can relieve some stress. The younger kids (8 and under) went for the kid area with with a basketball hoop inside one jumper, one mini-obstacle course inflatable, a slide jumper and a playhouse. All the kids (ages 9 to 1) enjoyed the main trampoline area. There was good music playing and it wasn't too crowded - even on a bargain day which is always a bonus. There are plenty of picnic tables for parents to hang out at if they don't want to jump, and there are arcade games, candy and drinks available. After watching the kids bounce off the walls (literally!) for an hour -- it was amazing how exhausted they all were. We'll be back!

Jump-Street Fun Center, in Thornton, is a place you must visit with your kids (or grown ups) of all ages. Before I went, I googled "Jump Street Fun Center" and some videos on youtube came up depicting people doing back flips across an entire room of wall to wall trampolines. Here's the link:

With my energetic boys, I knew that this was the place to go for fun, excitement, and a release of energy. I wasn't too sure about my toddler, however, that is until I got there. They had a gated toddler center with three large bouncy houses, some rides, and a play house where she felt right at home. And since kids ages two and under were free with paying adult, I was able to save money.

Jump-Street Fun Center also had a seperate section for dodge ball, which also took place on trampolines. Although my kids lost to the more seasoned dodge ballers, they still had a blast, and played over and over, until they were too exhausted to continue.

Since you pay by the hour, I was concerned that one hour was not going to be enough time to wear my kids out, but an hour of non stop jumping proved me wrong. Needless to say, I had no trouble putting my kids to sleep that night.

I highly recommend Jump-Street Fun Center for parents with highly energetic kids. This place will be especially helpful in the winter time when they can't play outside as much.

There is only 1 word to describe our experience at Jump Street. Wheeee! :D

After reading all the great reviews, we had been wanting to check it out but it is quite a drive from our home in Highlands Ranch. This past Saturday we headed north and enjoyed a fantastic time! We arrived in time for the 10 am jump session and had the place practically to ourselves for the first half hour. Since it wasn't crowded, our 2.5 year old got to enjoy some fun jumping time in the big trampoline rooms in addition to the Kiddie inflatable area. Both of our boys had a blast playing tag in the trampoline room. And I have to confess to using the springy surface to practice some rock star kicks. Hee!

What a fun way to get the blood pumping and get those kiddos moving! We left after our hour session with tired kiddos and parents.

The staff was very nice and I was impressed with the clean and bright cheery environment. Definitely worth the trip!
