Joseph's Story
He enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, hunting and anything else the outdoors had to offer. He planned to become a ranger or to have a career working in the wilderness when he grew up.

At 13 years of age, Joseph was diagnosed with leukemia. He bravely accepted the news and fought the disease. Shortly after learning of the leukemia, he underwent a bone marrow transplant. Complications set in and Joseph died within seven months of the original diagnosis. Then upon cleaning Joseph's room his parents found a shoebox with $50.25 of change, with a note that said "Caribou Trip".

Joseph never lived to experience the many wilderness journeys he dreamt about. But today other children like Joseph can.

Life should be an adventure. Joseph Steuart would have wanted this for all kids.
