What a great day we had at the Butterfly Pavilion for Bug a Boo! We had such a great time nobody wanted to leave and we ended spending over 5 hours instead of the two or three we had planned.
We dressed in our costumes and I am glad we did because all the other families were dressed up too. There was a costume parade and everyone part pated which was very fun for the kids…and adults.
My three young boys were completely thrilled with the insects and especially loved holding Rosie the Tarantula. They spent several minutes looking at each exhibit and were always asking questions about the different bugs or water creatures we saw. They loved being able to touch some of them and were even willing to stand in line to get a better look if necessary.
The pumpkin decorating and face painting were also exciting for the kids and they especially liked the balloon artist.
The highlight of our visit was when they released all the new butterflies which absolutely thrilled the boys. There were so many awesome colors and types that it was fascinating to see and they couldn’t stop talking about it. We are already talking about your next visit and what we will spend more time exploring and learning about.
