So, I recently received some Scrape-A-Round ice scrapers for review. The problem with that is we had a bit of warm weather, or at least none that would require a scraper. I finally had the chance to review with some recent wet weather combined with cold.
The idea behind the Scrape-A-Round is it provides a larger scraping surface so it will scrape your window clear of ice more quickly. Also because the ice scraper is made of a softer plastic, it allows the scraper to conform to the window curvature. A third reason for the clearer windows, faster is because you're using direct pressure on the scraper versus losing some through the scraper handle.

How did it work for me? If you watch the video at the 3:08 mark, you'll see my biggest issue with the scraper. Like the guy in the video, I have an SUV. The way he clears the front windshield is by opening the door of the vehicle and standing on the side step bar of the vehicle and holding onto the door to be able to reach the middle of the front windshield. Yes, the scraper works to clear the window, and maybe I'll keep it around for the side and back windows, but I just can't use it to clear all the front windshield without getting into an awkward situation that I would never want to do. If you have a car that is lower to the ground you won't have this problem, unless your arms are short and you too will have problems reaching the middle of the front windshield. And, you still need a brush or some other way to clear the window of any abundance of snow.
My favorite part of the Scrape-A-Round is you're able to clear your sideview mirror more easily with the smaller end of the scraper.
