DISCLAIMER: I was provided a free party for this post, all opinions are my own.
I can’t believe my youngest is 5! With back to school, starting to substitute teach full-time and running a family of 6, I was having a hard to figuring out what to do for my son’s birthday. He is old enough to really enjoy a birthday with friends so I wanted it to be epic.
We decided to have his party at DartMania in Engelwood, CO. I normally am the Pinterest mom who home makes the kids cakes, spends hours on decorations but this year I needed simple and easy but also super fun. I contacted DartMania by email and we quickly were able to set up a date and time for the party.
Here is the invite I used, I created it on Picmonkey in about 2 seconds, texted to the mom’s I knew and printed a few out for friends at school…so easy!
For the food, I just grabbed some of his favorites. I love DartMania because they let you bring in your own food but they provide silverware, plates, cups, tablecloths. But you can order food from them as well. They can order pizza/drinks and just add it to your bill. I love the flexibility. I bought some cupcakes, had some water, granola bars and nutella sandwiches…all his favorite things to eat.
What was fun about this party, is we asked a few of my older son’s friends to come and the kids of all ages loved the party! That is what is so great is even my 10-year-old would have loved to have a party here as well.
Here is some info on a party at DartMania: This pretty much sums up trying to get 5 year olds to pose for a picture
I have to say this, as a mom, but I was so impressed how clean this place was! Sometimes, you never know, when it comes to kid themed places, how well they keep up their facilities but we were so impressed. I cannot wait to take my kids back for an after noon of play.
For your next birthday party, support a local business and check out DartMania!
