Hello everyone! I know it has been a while since you’ve heard from me. Things have been pretty crazy around here lately! As most of you know, I went back to work and after working 9.5 hour days in a pharmacy, the last thing I want to do at night is pull out my computer and post – BUT I absolutely love blogging and helping my friends (you guys!!) find deals and freebies so I will be more intentional about it on my days off and even after I get home from work. I was also recently diagnosed with fibromyalgia which has been a big struggle within itself! I want to thank you for your patience with me as I learn to navigate this new diagnosis and everything that comes with it.
Back in January, I had the exciting opportunity to attend a Harlem Globetrotters show with my husband, Justin, and two of my good friends Caleb and Jennifer. We had an absolute blast! If you are not familiar with the Harlem Globetrotters, you NEED to be! Here is a little bit of info that they provide about their show:
All-New Harlem Globetrotters Pushing The Limits World Tour This is more than a basketball game. It is more than a show. It is the one and only Harlem Globetrotters in an all-new, larger-than-life world tour. You’ll be on your feet, out of your seat, laughing until it hurts and loving every moment. The 5th Quarter – The game isn’t over after the final shot! Meet your favorite Globetrotter court-side after the game to get an autograph and photo.
I have lots of pictures and videos to show you – but I decided to put them into a YouTube video so it’s easier to see and hear all in one spot. Check it out! PS I know some of the videos end up turning sideways – sorry lol.
This show was so much fun! My husband and I do not get a lot of opportunities to go out without the kids and just enjoy ourselves. We both work long days and long hours (he is a police officer and I work in a pharmacy) so this was a real treat for us!
We attended this show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN. We had great seats and we were able to see everything! The show starts out with some fun music and introductions to each player on the team – and later on the opposing team. The Harlem Globetrotters are known for their famous basketball tricks and humor. I saw them over 20 years ago when I was a young girl – about 9 years old. The tricks were different back then, but then again everything was different back then! Regardless, the show was entertaining, the players are so much fun and afterwards everyone gets free pictures and autographs! The music was family appropriate and I don’t think we ever stopped laughing! The team also does a great job at hyping up the crowd and even involving some of the crowd (both adults and children) in their show. It is truly an awesome show – and you should definitely go if they are coming to a town near you!
There is still time to join in on the fun – and I have an exclusive discount to offer my readers! I do not receive any compensation for tickets purchased through my post.
