Littleton and Louisville, CO Restaurants launch in-home fondue concept as
Governor Polis orders statewide halt to in-restaurant dining.
LITTLETON – For over 20 years, the owners of The Melting Pot of Littleton and Louisville have
delivered on being a local favorite for special occasion dining and a gourmet fondue
experience. With restaurant regulars and fondue lovers temporarily unable to dine-in,
The Melting Pot of Littleton is serving ‘Fondue To Go’,
combining family togetherness with an in-home fondue experience.
“We have created cheese and chocolate fondue relief packages so you can enjoy it in
the comfort of your own home,” said Tony Wheeler, who is the General Manager of Littleton.
“We realize part of the fun of fondue is experiencing it within our historic building, with
our amazing servers and our classic fondue style, but we are currently unable to do so
due to COVID-19.”
The menu includes five varieties of cheese fondues (including a vegan option), four
different types of chocolate fondue and four single portion salads with dressing on the
side. The only thing customers will need to do is get it ready on their stovetop. The cost
for one order of ‘Cheese Fondue for Two’ is $20, one order of ‘Chocolate Fondue for
Two’ is $20 and salads are $5 each. “Our fondues will be accompanied with all the
ingredients and instructions needed to prepare and recreate your experience at home,”
said Wheeler, “plus all the fresh and delicious dippers we’re known for.”
