For the past 4 or 5 years, we like to AT LEAST spend one weekend in Copper mountain if not more because we just fell in love with this ski town. But it’s not just a ski town in the summer, it is beaming with activities for the whole family. If you want to catch up on years past where I have covered Copper, check out my posts here, here, and here. If must be pretty fantastic if we keep going back year after year.
To be 100% honest, there are a lot of ski towns in Colorado offering fun activities but Copper Mountain has the best prices, lowest crowds and you just can’t beat the scenery so if you are planning a trip from out of town, this is a great place to visit.
Copper’s summer activities let you enjoy the mountains with something for the entire family. Race on Summit County’s only go-kart track, conquer the climbing wall or channel your inner ninja skills inside the Woodward WreckTangle. Summer Activity Passes include (1) Rocky Mountain Coaster ride, (1) bungee jump, (1) go-kart session, (1) ride on the zipline, (1) pass through the Woodward WreckTangle and unlimited access to West Lake activities, scenic chairlift rides and mountain bike hauls, and the climbing wall.
