The 2021 Polar Plunge presented by Westerra Credit Union benefiting Special Olympics CO is back! Plunge and/or run in person at the Denver location or sign up for the Virtual Plunge from the comfort of your home! Jennifer Gaona presents for teachers the ins and outs of "Bush News" for elementary and secondary students. Viewers can ask Mrs. Gaona, a well-established leader of curriculum, questions about tailoring this program to their classroom.
"Bush News" challenges challenges students to look deeper at several pieces of major legislation, including the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Clean Air Act.

Join us virtually on March 10 from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m.to learn about about the constellations - a brief history and how to see them in the night sky. Get a brief tutorial about re-aligning your backyard telescope. Then be guided through fun, at-home activities which will bring stargazing and the constellations to life!

Help the Lafayette LeprechaunS find and fill their pot of gold. We have hidden gold throughout the BBRC complex- city fields, inline skate rink, walking trails etc. Gather up to 20 pieces of gold and report to the leprechaun check in station and show the leprechaun that you have found some of his gold. You will receive a clue as to where the pot-o-gold is hidden. Once found, retrieve your bundle of gold coins for you to keep. Keep your eye out for the small leprechauns hidden- find one and receive a special prize.
For more family fun, register for the St. Patrick's Day coloring contest. Winners will be selected by age group for additional prizes. Coloring sheets will be distributed at the leprechaun check in station and winners will be announced on St. Patrick's Day- March 17, 2021.

Calling all girls! Join WOW! Children's Museum for How to Be a Scientist our 3rd annual celebration of Girls in Science! During this live virtual Zoom event, girls ages 3 and up will get to meet real female scientists and explore science activities at home with a hands-on kit! Girls will have the chance to see women from a variety of STEM careers, and interact along at home with special activities. Girls will also learn that they can be a scientist both as a future career and right now in their everyday lives!

-Geologist/computer programmer/CO State Representative Brianna Titone

Your ninja's week at Ninja Care will be filled with fun activities, skill building, competitions, snacks, and lunch! No prior ninja experience is required.
Drop off will occur between 8:30am and 9am every day of the week, and pick up is between 3 and 3:30pm.
